Mexican Brownies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
Heat the oven to 350° F. Grease a 9-inch by 13-inch baking pan.
Melt the butter in a non-stick saucepan over medium-low heat. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly. Add the sugar and eggs to the butter, and mix until well combined. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix to a smooth texture. Pour into the prepared baking pan and bake for 20 minutes.
